From Friday 9th to Sunday 11th March, O3 Gallery will be running a series of lively discussions on the links between fashion, fair trade and other ethical issues. The panels will include fashion designers, ethical fashion experts and social anthropologists. They will be tackling such controversial issues as:
- The impact of the globalizing economy on women expected to conform to traditional roles – the empowerment of entrepreneurship.
- The impact of fashion, textiles and jewelry on the environment
- Can luxury goods be ethical?
