 The Latin American Centre and the Oxford-León Association would like to invite you to our celebratory seminar on Nicaragua, as part of the 30 anniversary of the twining between the city of Oxford and León in Nicaragua. The seminar titled “Nicaragua Then, Now and in the Future” will take place on 28 November at 5pm in the Latin American Centre.

The panel will have two participants: Professor Valpy Fitzgerald of the Oxford Department of International Development and Dr Paul Oquist, Minister – Private Secretary for National Policies of Nicaragua. The Lord Mayor of Oxford, Councilor Mohammed Altaf-Khan, will say a few words at the beginning. The event will be chaired by the Director of the Latin American Centre, Dr Diego Sánchez Ancochea.
