The Future of Fairtrade: Is Small Still Beautiful?

The Oxford Fairtrade Coalition AGM Monday 16th January 2017 6pm – 8pm Long Room, Oxford Town Hall St. Aldates, OX1 4BX

Talk by Mike Gidney, CEO Fairtrade Foundation,  followed by an opportunity to ask questions

Join us for an interesting debate including the hot topics of market access for farmers and corporate own labels and our role, going forward, as Fairtrade towns, universities, schools and faith groups

The business of the meeting will take place from 6.00pm for a maximum of half an hour. Mike Gidney will speak at 6.30 for about half an hour on his vision of the future of Fairtrade and the role of FT towns, universities, colleges, schools and faith groups.  There will then be half an hour for questions and comments before sharing a glass of FT wine or juice together.

This is a time of considerable change for Fairtrade, so it will be interesting to have a chance to hear and ask questions about its future.
