Fairtrade Fortnight 2011

Fair Trade Fortnight 2011 in OxfordFairtrade Fortnight 2011 is taking place between the 28th February and the 13th March.

Schools, colleges, businesses and community groups across Oxford will be running events to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight and to show the difference that Fairtrade can make.

We’re going to be holding a celebration event on 12th March, 10.30am – 12.30pm in Oxford City Centre where we’ll be making sure Fairtrade is visible to everyone in the city – and we’re inviting everyone to get involved by creating Fairtrade Bunting

…head over to the Fairtrade Fortnight website to find resources and ideas that can help you. You can order a wide range of resources from the Foundation.

If you have an event planned…

…make sure you e-mail fairtrade@oxford.gov.uk with details of your plans so we can add it to a local events calendar..

If you are a local business selling Fairtrade products…

…get in touch to tell us what you are doing to be loud and proud about Fairtrade this Fairtrade Fortnight so we can feature your updates on our blog, on twitter and in our e-mail-outs.

If you want to get involved in City wide planning for Fairtrade Fortnight…

…get in touch and come along to Fairtrade Coalition meetings where we will be putting together plans for a number of City wide events.
